The Occupational English Test (OET) is the English language test for healthcare professionals who seek to register and practice in an English-speaking environment.
Unlike general English tests, OET test materials are based on real healthcare scenarios so employers can be confident that successful candidates have the right level of English proficiency required for safe and high-quality patient care.
OET is accepted as proof of English proficiency for registration by healthcare boards and councils in eight countries, including Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland. It is also accepted by Australian and New Zealand immigration departments.
OET is available at 117 locations in 40 countries.
