Overview:

Africa Health presents the first Physio conference as part of the 9th Edition. Welcoming an all-encompassing range of physio professionals, this expert led one-day programme will focus on “strengthening physiotherapy management in Africa”.

Regional and internationally reknowned physiotherapy specialists will provide comprehensive education by identifying the best practice for utilising physiotherapy to manage noncommunicable disease, considering the role of movement in health, and discussing how to achieve sustainable development and a better Africa by 2030 by addressing the WHO Rehabilitation 2030 Call for Action.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, by partaking in the exercise and prescription workshops, all delegates will have the opportunity to take away all-important practical skills that can be immediately implemented as part of their care provision and ultimately offer immediately improved treatment outcomes.
