The Pitch Competition
We are thrilled to launch the first ever Innov8 start-up competition at Africa Health 2023, an international start-up competition that will see 20 start-ups pitch their ground-breaking ideas and battle on stage. Judges will include industry leaders, investors, government officials, and entrepreneurs to determine the winner.

Application deadline – 1st October 2023
**Start-ups who have been shortlisted for this competition are responsible for bearing their own expenses related to travel and accommodation
The breakdown and concept
The format

2 Rounds, with 10 start-ups in each:
- October 17 –Round 1: 10 Start-ups
- October 18 – Round 2: 10 Start-ups
- October 19 – Final Pitch-Off – (Top 6 Finalists)
3 minutes to pitch and 5 minutes of Q&A with the judges
Top 6 finalists will compete in the finale on Oct 19
1 winner will be announced
