Prepare for an electrifying global showdown as the Innov8 Start-Up Competition returns for its second edition at Africa Health 2024, this time set in Cape Town!
Top 20 of the most promising health tech start-ups from around the world will compete for attention, striving to impress judges and make their mark on the industry once again.

Application deadline: 4 October 2024
**Start-ups who have been shortlisted for this competition are responsible for bearing their own expenses related to travel and accommodation.
The breakdown and concept
The format
- 2 Rounds featuring 10 start-ups in each:
22 Oct – Round 1: 10 Start-ups
23 Oct – Round 2: 10 Start-ups
24 Oct – Final Pitch-Off – (Top 6 Finalists)
- 4 minutes to pitch and 5 minutes of Q&A with the judges
- Top 6 finalists will compete in the finale on 24 Oct
- 1 winner, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up will be announced
