SafMed will have a larger presence at Africa Health this year with a bigger stand offering visitors more space and more products to interact with.

Visitors will be able to view an interactive demonstration of SafMed’s digital operating theatre integration system on the stand in order to experience the benefits of using this system in their hospitals.

SafMed will also be launching a new product on the stand this year called The UV Box. The UV Box was developed specifically to target mobile, handheld devices that are known agents of cross-contamination in Hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Directly addressing this problem, The UV Box has been independently proven by an FDA consulting lab to disinfect 99.995% of the most difficult to treat contaminants, including C. diff and MRSA, and 99.999% of Norovirus, all in less than 60 seconds.
