2nd African Surgery Conference 2012, 10-11 May 2012

Overview

The surgery industry is continuously improving and developing as more advanced methods are learnt and incorporated into surgical processes. As a healthcare professional you need to keep up to date with continuous medical and technology updates in order to improve the quality of the surgery procedures you perform thus maximising patient outcomes.

It is the region's premier surgical event providing a vast array of educational and networking opportunities to the surgery profession. This event is designed to enhance the care of surgical patients through broad-ranging individual presentations and panel discussions. These presentations and master classes will be delivered by key international and regional experts from across the surgical specialties and will focus on key clinical topics in surgery and related fields.

This event is designed to provide surgeons with an educational platform to discuss surgery in terms of quality, patient safety and risk management. It is crucial, especially in resource-constraint environment, to optimize the quality assurance of surgery and to maximize patients’ safety. The conference will run lectures on:
